The Van Compass 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter AWD 4X4 3500 - Stage 1 System (Mid/Heavy Tune) is the ideal starting point for adventure vans, light Class B RVs, and passenger vans seeking a serious improvement in ride quality, handling, and control. This system tightens up your Sprinter’s loose handling while maintaining comfort and performance over rough roads, broken pavement, and off-road terrain.

At the core of the Stage 1 system are VC-tuned Falcon 2.1 Monotube Shocks, installed at all four corners. With superior construction and a larger, more effective damper piston, these shocks dramatically reduce corner lean, violent sway, and jarring impacts. Whether navigating through uneven roads or rugged trails, these shocks transform your driving experience by increasing stability, comfort, and safety, while reducing driver fatigue.

Complementing the shocks are progressive foam Bump Buddy replacement jounce bumpers. These bumpers replace the factory rubber stops, improving spring curve progression, minimizing sway, and enhancing bottom-out resistance—all without adding harshness or unnecessary clunking, delivering a smoother and quieter ride.

NOTE: Vans equipped with HD Rear AC Package require extra care when mounting front shocks, refrigerant lines may need to be slightly bent and re-secured.

NOTE: NOT compatible with Sumo Spring Rebel series of springs, specifically Sumo Spring part numbers: SSR-327-47-2 and SSR-327-40-2 There is a Sumo Spring bracket associated with those kits which makes contact with the shock body.
